Wrekin Walks 2020

Wrekin Walks 2020

This week in conjunction with Sports Relief, students walked up the Wrekin! They spotted a large herd of deer, learnt about Iron Age forts, the differences between a buzzard and a red kite, which trees offer shelter in the elements and which don’t, but most important of all – how to learn and have fun in the great outdoors.

Overall it has been such a fantastic week, one which we hope the students have enjoyed and gained a sense of accomplishment from, whether it was a once summit or a twice summit. We will definitely be taking away some fond memories from this week and we hope the students will too.

A big thank you to Mrs Ward for organising the walks, as well as our staff and volunteers that made the week possible!
